Submit Your Favorite Pet Story Contest!

Scooble wants to hear your pet stories!  Submit your favorite pet story for a chance to win an Asus Eee PC.  These mini notebook computers are packed with features including a 160GB hard drive, built-in webcam and media reader, and wirless networking. Scooble.com TV Giveaway Promotion Launches at Pet Expo

The World Wide Pet Industry Association (WWPIA) will host their annual America’s Family Pet Expo April 17-19 at the OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.

Pet Expo sponsor and online resource for finding the best pet food and services, Scooble.com, will launch their six-week TV giveaway promotion at the Expo. Event attendees and other pet owners are to register on Scooble.com Friday, April 17, through Friday, May 29, for a chance to win the 55” Vizio XVT LCD 1080p HDTV and entertainment console ($2,000 value). The winner will be randomly selected, and announced Monday, June 1.

“This will be Scooble’s first year participating at America’s Family Pet Expo, so we wanted to do something special for pet owners,” said Scooble.com’s Rob Chell. “It’s the love and care they give their pets that make events like the Expo possible.”

Other Scooble.com booth activities will include raffles with winners chosen bi-hourly and a children’s coloring contest. The coloring contest winner will have their picture posted on Scooble.com Friday, May 1.

This year’s show will feature more than 1,000 animals, as well as pet products, demos and competitions, animal experts, pet adoptions, and more.

General Admission tickets are $12, and can be purchased at a $2 discount in advance at www.PetExpoOC.com. Other ticket options and pricing are: seniors (60 years old and over) – $10; and children (six to 12 years old) – $6. Children five years old and under receive free admission.

Expo hours are Friday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
