Sampson is a 2 yr old, neutered, male, Spirited Shepherd blend. Friendly, smart and eager to please.

He gets along great with other dogs and even cats. Sampson has a lot of energy and needs an athletic environment. He knows sit and fetch and would be great at flyball, agility and Frisbee.

Tailwaggers Halloween Party Event – Oct. 31

Tailwaggers is proud to continue its Halloween Party tradition this year by hosting a costume contest in-store on Saturday, October 31.

This Halloween will be a special one as Tailwaggers is turning its Halloween event into a benefit for Dogs Without Borders. This October 31, while the store is open (9am-7pm), Tailwaggers will be hosting a Dogs Without Borders adoption event, as well as holding a raffle to raise money for DWB.

Business Spotlight – Tailwaggers & Tailwashers

Tailwaggers first opened its doors back in 2003 in Hollywood, California and continues to provide the community with healthy, natural pet care products that are consistent with a holistic approach to pet health. All of our products are carefully chosen based on the belief that our animal companions should be treated with the same respect and consideration for natural living that we give ourselves. The Tailwaggers name itself is an homage to the Tail-waggers Club which was created in England in 1915 as a charity designed for the advancement of dog welfare.

In 1929, Bette Davis put the organization on the map in the US when she was elected as President of Southern California’s branch. Her dedication to animal welfare was a very powerful force in raising awareness in Hollywood. In 1929, Life magazine covered one of her fund raising events, which enlisted the likes of Howard Hughes as a generous donor and Walt Disney, who personally designed the place cards. This simple “old-hollywood” sense of community action is something we are proud to perpetuate and work closely with several rescue organizations and free clinics as well as donate a percentage of our sales each month to animal charities.

You can be a part of this commitment to support the community by coming out Saturday, October 31st to the Tailwaggers Halloween Party. This year we will celebrate with a costume contest and raffle supporting the Dogs Without Borders non profit group. Dogs without borders will have their adoption dogs at Tailwaggers from 9-7pm. 100% of the raffle proceeds and a portion of the stores sales will be donated to this amazing rescue organization.
